So Yummy’s Dumpling Folding: Easy or Hard?

How many of you have watched the So Yummy food videos? They are cute little video that show the recipes and methods as being easy to make or do. I really liked the one that showed all these fancy ways to fold dumplings. They made dumplings shaped like flowers and shells. Just look at them here! These methods of folding were far fancier than the traditional crimping that I used when making homemade dumplings. So one weekend when I had a bit of time and a craving for dumplings, I decided to try to fold the dough in these new ways. Then, how did it go?

Go for the Greens Mentorship Webinars: Strive for Your Future!

Last year, I had the honor of attending Go for the Greens in Orlando, Florida and gain mentoring from business leaders. However, I have gained more since the conference has ended. Go for the Greens has hosted online seminars for their mentees with more community leaders via Zoom discussing topics relevant to those growing their leadership skills. So why does this apply to you, my reader?

Workout At Home Playlist

In Lockdown, I had to figure out how to workout at home like the rest of the world. So I went to YouTube, and searched for at home workouts that need no equipment. I also wanted good starter workouts since I am not the most athletic person in the world. Youtube was full of them and I got to workout to a few of them. So here is the YouTube playlist I came up with for at home workouts.

Gem Goddess: A Message From Beyond

In times of uncertainty, it is interesting the things we turn to for reassurance of a promising tomorrow. For me, I turn to tarot cards. It sounds silly but why not try something more silly if it reassuring to the listeners. I don’t own my own set of tarot cards or know all the oracle meanings of them so I rely on other’s readings.

Confessions of a Popaholic: Dr. Pimple Popper

So I have to make a confession …
I am a self diagnosed Popaholic.

A popaholic is someone who gets pleasure from the removal of acne, cyst, and other items from under the skin. Sounds gross if you are not one but if you are I have to let you know that you are not alone.

Randy Rainbow: Parody with a Message

In a time of uncertainty and chaos, how can one get a giggle and a laugh? How about taking a few popular songs and creates parodies with today’s events? Well one man took on this challenge. He even has been nominated for an Emmy for the works he created. He has been interviewed on NPR, and other notable news source outlets. Randy Rainbow is a Youtube creator that uses parodies to poke fun of politicians and other popular figures. He is a natural comedic talent. He uses footage from interviews and rallies to create this conversation between himself and the famous figures that he is targeting where they are respond to his sarcastic comments and seething questions.

Strictly Dumpling: Let’s get hungry

Do you know someone that seems to be able to find all the best restaurants in town? For me, it is youtube star, Mikey or Mike Chen. Don’t know him? Then you should definitely read on because you will want to binge on his videos after this. Mikey Chen has built a career filled with videos on his channel called Strictly Dumpling around his favorite food during his travels. He has traveled to far off destination such as Singapore, Philippines, and India. His passion for food shines in every video as he ‘fanboys’ over the beautiful crafted dishes. The most popular type of food that he features is Chinese. However he has featured anything from Japanese to Las Vegas buffets. He has eaten things that most would possibly shy away from like frog fallopian tubes. (Not a dish I personally I am going to try any time soon.)
