Chef’s Table BBQ: Tales from the Pit Masters

Chef’s Table is one of my favorite documentary series. It gets to the core of the chefs behind some of the top restaurants around the world. The documentary series created a new spin off focusing on BBQ around the world. BBQ looks different in different parts of the world, but there is a common feature of fire. The people who master this type of cooking are often given the title of Pit-Master instead of Chef as they have a skill set that a Chef can’t match. Pit-Masters have an understanding of fire and food.

JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Legacy of Heroes

Want an adventure?

JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure is an anime series that was adapted from the manga of the same name. Each episode follows the lives of the Joestar family. They are a family gifted with powers. Blue Exorcist: Nature or Nurture?

It is a question of humanity if we are determined by our nature or by those who nurture us. If you ask a room full of people this question, you will get a variety of different answers. So how are we suppose to know? An anime series (that was originally a manga) called Blue Exorcist brings this question into focus as the lead, Rin, and his brother discover that they are the sons of Satan.

World’s Most Wanted: Running From The Law

We all love our cop and crime shows. However, I decided to watch a documentary series in Netflix this time instead of my usual fiction crime shows. The documentary was interestingly based on the criminals that tried to get away. Have you ever heard the saying “If you do the crime, expect to do the time”? Maybe these criminals should watch this series to figure out that they always pay in the end.

Fruits Basket: Nostalgia Comeback

The other day, I had a wave of nostalgia hit me. It was while I was scrolling through the web looking for a new anime that I stumbled onto an old friend. An old friend that was a manga I read during my middle school years, and was making its reappearance again.

America’s Test Kitchen Cooking School Cookbook: The Amateur’s Prayer in the Kitchen

Sometimes we all need a few tips and tricks to help us in the kitchen. Even having some master recipes under our belt would be helpful. I am an amateur cook and no where near perfecting it. I am still taking baby steps but I am still trying. Until then I have to rely on cookbooks for assistance. Hence my latest find and love in the cookbook section of my library, I highly recommend my latest find for the amateur cooks out there like me called America’s Test Kitchen Cooking School Cookbook.

My Next Life as a Villainess: Progressive Reverse Harem Story?

My Next Life as a Villainess is a light hearted anime show that bridges the popular reincarnation novel theme with the other popular genre called reverse harems. This show is funny and quirky for anyone that has been a fan of any otome games or series. It has all the elements that make it light hearted and witty. You will be entertained from start to finish, but that is not the only reason I wanted to talk about this amazing show. It is a marker of a progressive new world in story telling. How so? Let me explain.
