I love a good piece of vintage clothing. It is very preppy and modest. Plus, it is not like the items in the shop one can get today. Imagine my surprise while perusing Instagram I came across photos of these beautiful outfits that were styled from various eras. I mean just check out their Instagram. The boutique is called Unique Vintage out in California.
Venice is a city full of opulence, history, and beauty. The one of the most beautiful sites being St. Mark’s Square. Turning about in a circle, you are struck on all sides by Venetian architecture. The clash of Italian and Arabic influence are twined together to create these beautiful pieces of history. However, the most unique feature of the square is the Doge’s Palace. All over Italy you can see cathedrals, and museums but there is only one Doge’s Palace. If you aren’t familiar with this place, don’t worry. I will not only tell you why you should know about this place and why you should visit if you ever find yourself in Venice, but why is the Doge’s Palace important to the culture of Venice and Italy.
On the news and in the papers, I have been seeing more shopping malls closing. It seems like the world is closing up shop on the brick and mortar stores. So what will happen to shopping for clothes? All my life, when you shopped for clothes you went to the mall and spent all day browsing hundreds of stores looking for the one or two pieces that you need. The stores are filled with an overwhelming amount of clothes and styles that may or may not work for your body type. I do not like going to shop at malls because of all the negative body, bamboozlement of colors, and overload of choices. I often myself leaving the mall with items of clothing that I needed but no idea how to pair them with my existing closet. So frustrated with traditional shopping, I started searching for a new way to update my closet. I was happy to find Stitch Fix!
