I am very thankful for the introduction to my local writing group for a lot of reasons. One of those reasons that I got introduced to the blog, Honestly Tara.
I love books. You can find me curled up with one most hours of the day. However, it is hard to carry heavy books with you in your bag and running around trying to manage life. When life was on-the-go (pre-COVID), I would use one app to bring my bookshelf with me no matter where I go. It made a bunch of novels the weight of a cell phone.
Being a writer can be intimidating especially if you are trying to figure it out. Even as a blogger, I have to studied the art of writing. An art I thought I would never have to study. I have read several guides to writing and each write about the do’s and don’ts. They offer harrowing tails of rejection letters and finding agents. Which is good information but not what I am looking for in encouragement. However, my most recent read has become the guide I never knew I needed.
Love can come when you least expect.
It may make you cry or laugh.
Love can open doors.
It can help you move on.
Love is powerful, and maybe that is why romance books are so popular. If you love romance books, might I suggest The Lucky Dog Matchmaking Service by Beth Kendrick.
