Glass blowing is a hard and grueling craft that creates beauty in the end. Artists spend hours and hours on end to create a single piece that express their creative vision or watch it crack in the end. It could takes years to be discovered. Some artist are only discovered posthumous if they are discovered at all.

So, Netflix has created a competition that puts artists to the test to completed theme challenges in the glass. Viewers will get to see the whole process of creation and view the final pieces in the gallery. They will also get to see into the life stories of the artist that are competing. The best part is that the final winner gets a residency at a famous art gallery and an exhibit dedicated to their pieces. How cool is that?!
