The world always loves a good comedy, and combined with the elegance of a girl dressed for the 50’s then you more than likely will have a winner. Amazon proved this true with their hit, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.

The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel of course being about Midge Maisel and her life. However, Midge Maisel’s life has fallen from the pedestal of society it once was. She now takes pains in life to become a comedy act and rise to stardom in New York. This is not to the joy of many since traditional  gender roles, family, and society are not always supportive of her efforts to be a comedian. She will have to figure a way to make it because the spotlight is calling her name!

Midge will have you in stitches from laughter and crying at the setbacks she goes through. You will cheer for the supporting cast and character development of each character whether it be for the better or worse. Even societal issues in New York during the 1950’s are incorporated into the storyline. This gives the show the  well balanced feeling that has you craving for the next season. I am going to be honest. I binged all the released seasons in a couple of days, and you will too after episode 1.
