Letter To A Younger Me

Dear Younger Me,

In a few years, life will hit you hard. Growing up is a pain in the butt, but a necessary evil. You will learn so much and experience so much. Amazing people will come and go. You will discover so many exciting places too. However, there are a few things I wish for you to know to hopefully make the efforts of growing up a little easier.

The world is full of wonderful and amazing things. You will learn that the world has as much capacity for good as evil. You will have to hold your head high and hope to guide others the right way. Love life with every breath. You never know what fortune will come your way when you love life and it loves you back.

However, never forget to love yourself first and foremost. If you don’t love yourself, you will not be happy and successful. Life is about failures and overcoming the challenges in it. Perfectionism is a fiction, not reality. Love your imperfections and faults. You are an amazing person. A complete knockout!

I am sure there is a million and one things I could include like it is ok to cry and move on. However, loving yourself and be a lover of life is the most important things I want you to know. They are the hardest lessons you can learn and will continue to struggle with for a long time. Your family and friends will help you, but you must achieve this internally on your own.

You are loved. You are amazing. You will find your place in the world just enjoy your journey on the way their.

Sincerely,

Older Me
