The school year is just around the corner. College is full of responsibilities. You will be asked to juggle class work, work, volunteering, club activities, and so much more while making the grades so the quest for success means mastering the art of optimizing studying. Those that left high school and are getting ready to start their college journey, I have one piece of advice for you. This book present breakthrough approach to acing academic assignments from quizzes and exams to the tricky essays and papers. The focus will be on streamlining the study process, defeat procrastination, absorb materials, navigate critical reading, and learn how to provide A+ answers. I love how the book is broken into main topic sections like study basics, quizzes and exams, and essays/papers. Each section is broken into feasible steps that I feel like anyone can understand and accomplish. I have used several of these steps and techniques to help manage my own college career so I personally know that these tips can help you!
I also love the comprehensive cheat sheet for each section that rely summarizes what that section had as suggestions. I use the cheat sheet to help remind me of suggestions that were made. I also use as a checklist to work on creating these steps into habits. (Experts say it takes 60 days to create a habit so hopefully I create this into a habit soon so it is more natural!) I started reading this book based on the suggestion that a professor made while I was attending her class. So if a professor gave her classroom of student this tip then you know it is a good one!
